Product Description:
TAMMECH R-553 is a Hydrogenated Castor Oil (HCO) is a wax like compound obtained by the controlled hydrogenation of refined castor oil. It is a hard, brittle, high melting point product that is practically odorless and tasteless. It is supplied in the form of flakes or as powder. TAMMECH R-553 HCO is chemically the triglyceride of primarily 12-Hydroxy Stearic Acid (12 H.S.A). It is insoluble in water with limited solubility in most organic solvents.
Application:
TAMMECH R-553 can be used in manufacturing of greases and lubricants.
