Product Description:
BS-150, widely referred to as Brightstock, is a high-quality Group I base oil valued for its very high viscosity, positioning it among the most viscous oils within the Grade I classification. Brightstock is produced through a specialized refining process that includes atmospheric and vacuum distillation, solvent extraction and dewaxing of residual oils, followed by hydrofinishing to achieve the desired purity and performance standards.
This base oil is distinguished by its viscosity range of 30-33 cSt at 100°C, making it one of the most viscous base oils available. Its unique properties make it indispensable in applications requiring thick, durable lubricants. Due to the complexity of its production, only a limited number of refineries globally are equipped to manufacture Brightstock-grade oils, contributing to its strong demand across the lubricant industry.
