Product Description:

SN 100 is a light Group I base oil, with a viscosity of approximately 3.8-4.6 cSt at 100°C and minimum 20.5 at 40°C, typically used in the production of lubricants, oil-based products, plasticizers, and various automotive chemical products. It also serves as an anti-caking agent for artificial fertilizer applications and as an emulsifier in water–asphalt dispersions used in the construction industry.

SN 100 is produced by refining vacuum distillates sourced from carefully selected paraffinic crude oil fractions. With properties positioned at the lower end of the lubricant stock range, it is commonly utilized in the manufacture of lubricants and lubricant additives.

Applications:

Base Oil SN 100 serves as a versatile base stock for the formulation of various industrial lubricants, including:
• General purpose oils
• Mould release oils
• Transmission fluids
• Gear oils
• Metalworking fluids
• Lubricant additives
• Hydraulic oils
• Transformer oils
• Automotive and industrial lubricants
• Oil-based chemical formulations
• Plasticizer production
• Automotive chemical products
• Anti-caking agents in fertilizer
• Water–asphalt emulsions for construction

Safe Handling and Storage:

Lubricants formulated with SN 100 base oil contain highly refined mineral oils combined with performance-enhancing additives. While they present no significant toxic hazard under normal use, proper handling and storage are essential for safety and environmental protection.

Precautionary Guidelines:

• Avoid direct skin contact; wear protective gloves if necessary
• Prevent splashing during application or transfer
• Avoid exposure to open flames and combustible environments.
