Product Description:
SN 500 is a Group I base oil classified as a light-grade lubricant base stock, positioned at the higher end of the viscosity range within this group. It is widely utilized as a base oil in lubricant formulations across multiple industries.
SN 500 is derived from vacuum-distilled crude oil and is further treated through solvent refining, dewaxing, and hydrotreatment to purify the oil and enhance its performance characteristics. It features a kinematic viscosity of minimum 10.25 cSt at 100°C and minimum 98 cSt at 40°C, making it well-suited for applications requiring a heavier base oil with good lubricating characteristics.
