DMDX-6147 is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) grade with a broad molecular weight distribution and high molecular weight, designed specifically for large-part blow molding applications. It delivers an excellent combination of extrudability and parison stability, enabling uniform wall thickness and superior dimensional control in products such as 5 to 55-gallon (20 to 210 liter) closed-head shipping containers.
The grade also offers outstanding environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) alongside good rigidity, making it ideal for demanding industrial packaging. Its smooth surface is easily treated and printed, supporting high-quality finishing and branding.
